Meet Boulder's adolescent care team
Our adolescent care team delivers specialized, uncompromising care for adolescents. Together they have decades of experience treating adolescents and young adults. They're part of this team because of their immense knowledge and passion for treating people just like you.
Jodi B.
I believe very strongly that all individuals deserve kind, compassionate and equitable care. I truly believe that as a medical professional that it is my responsibility, and honor, to advocate for individuals who may not be able to do so for themselves. Caring for youth has been one of the greatest pleasures in my work as a nurse and nurse practitioner. I love the energy and honesty that young people bring to a visit.

I love that we have the opportunity to help adolescents with SUD before they're an adult. If they need the help now then why wait until they become 18. I'm part of this team because I would want someone to help and care for my children with the compassion I have as well.

Tala Y.
I am a part of this team because I am a young adult and have seen things children go through in their teenage years. I feel like I would have a connection with these patients to where they would feel comfortable and willing to take this next step with my knowledge and personal experience, especially with mental health.

I am excited that we can extend and reach out to our young people now while they are young...... because it is what transforms you into who you will and want to become. If right now all it is is to be heard and listened to, I want to be part of that here with you!!!.

Riki A.
As emergency medicine includes all patients from birth to old age I naturally wanted to join the adolescent care team with Boulder. Going the extra mile for my younger patients feels very important to me as I know navigating the world and the health care system as a teen or young adult can be really challenging.

I believe in the transformative power of early intervention and compassionate support for young individuals facing these challenges. By joining a specialized team, I aim to leverage my expertise and passion to provide tailored interventions and support services that address the unique needs of adolescents struggling with substance use.

Shiloh M.
As a parent to two adolescents, I know that if either of them were ever struggling with substance use, I would want them to receive the kind of compassionate and non-judgmental care that Boulder Care offers to all of its patients. I want to be a provider in a treatment program that makes it easy for adolescents to access compassionate and evidence-based care.

What is expected of me as a patient?
Show up! Communicate as honestly as you can. Tell us how we're doing. All you need is a working device with cellular service and/or wifi in order to have video visits.

How long do I have to do this?
Care plans are flexible. For most people, recovery is a marathon, not a sprint. It has its ups and downs. We’ll work to earn your trust so that we can be there for you when things are going well and help you out when they’re not. We’re in this with you for the long term. Boulder does not require you to remain in our program for any specific amount of time to receive services. We support your recovery being self-directed! We also don’t put a time frame on your care with us.
